The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blah shoots in for a double leg but Vaughn sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Vaughn shoots and misses

and Blah holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Vaughn jumps guard but Blah stands there with Vaughn around his waist. Vaughn gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Vaughn wants to break free but Blah has control.
Vaughn is working for takedown but Blah is calmly controlling the position for now.

Blah is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Blah decides to return to a standing position.
Vaughn defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Blah.
Blah lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vaughn circles away quickly and effectively.

Blah closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Blah throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Vaughn's head.

Blah lands a big head kick that sends Vaughn tumbling to the mat! Blah takes a step backwards and waves Vaughn back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Blah decides to pull guard.
Blah is adopting a defensive guard.
Blah is looking to stand up but Vaughn isn't so interested in that idea.
Blah throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Blah had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Vaughn defends it easily.
Blah is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Blah stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Vaughn tries to close the distance and clinch but Blah swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Blah rushes Vaughn and presses him up against the cage.
Vaughn prevents a takedown attempt there.

Blah tries to score a power double leg takedown but Vaughn sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Blah somewhat.

Vaughn takes the fight into the clinch.
Vaughn drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Blah gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Vaughn is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Blah pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Blah has taken the fight to the clinch.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Vaughn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Blah on the ground.

Blah is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Vaughn is aware though and is defending well.

Blah has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Vaughn can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Vaughn wanted to stand there but Blah had control of the position.

Blah takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Blah has his foot on Vaughn's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vaughn works his way back into a safe position though.

Vaughn tried to counter with a leg kick but Blah avoided it.

Vaughn dives in and grabs Blah's left leg, looking for a takedown. Blah pushes down on Vaughn's head and hops out.

I would just about give that final round to Blah Blah.
Well Blah has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
