Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Aleksy Dzikowski (ranked 2764 p4p, 134 weight class) and Hakuin Rinzai (ranked 21955 p4p, 251 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Aleksy Dzikowski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hakuin Rinzai!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, William Gold and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dzikowski will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Rinzai swings for the body but Dzikowski moves out of range.

Rinzai flicks out a counter leg kick but Dzikowski steps away.
Rinzai bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Rinzai is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Rinzai throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
It looked like Dzikowski was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Rinzai.

Rinzai throws a push kick but Dzikowski slaps the foot to one side.

Hakuin Rinzai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Rinzai tries to land a front kick but Dzikowski steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

It looked like Dzikowski wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Dzikowski throws a big counter combination but Rinzai scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Hakuin Rinzai showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Aleksy Dzikowski.
Well Rinzai has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
