Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Over Power!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Spanky Loco!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loco lands a head kick!
It looks like Over Power has been cut.
Loco looks to throw a body kick
enabling Power to counter with a crisp jab.
Loco throws a head kick that misses
and Power counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Spanky Loco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Power blocks the body kick.
Loco lands a nice looking body kick.
Loco throws a body kick that misses.
Loco with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A head kick misses from Loco.
Power takes a kick to the side of the head.
Power misses with a looping right.
Loco is looking to slow Power down with leg kicks.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Loco scores with a head kick. Power tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Power fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Loco pulls out of a head kick attempt.
An attempted straight right counter from Power misses the target.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Loco throws a head kick that misses.
A little feinted left hand from Power on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Loco gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Power counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Power connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Loco throws a head kick but Power moves out of range.
Loco scoring well with a low kick there.
Loco keeps Power at a distance using the push kick.
Loco thuds his shin into the meat of Power's side.
Loco scores with a kick to the midsection.
Loco lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Power crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Loco - the referee stops the clock and Power gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Loco. Power manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Loco lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Over Power's cut is getting worse.
Power takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Loco throws a powerful right kick. Power tried to block low but the kick was high! Power was taken right off of his feet! Loco jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Spanky Loco!
During a confident post fight interview, Spanky Loco thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
