And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jake Ruth!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kristo moves into the clinch.
Kristo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Knees to the body from Kristo.
Kristo is pushing Ruth up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Kristo lands a nice knee to the body.
Ruth looks winded!

Kristo lands with a light punch inside.
Kristo drops Ruth with a big knee straight up the middle! Ruth is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
It looks like Jake Ruth has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kristo closes the distance and pushes Ruth back into the cage.
Clinched against the cage, Kristo lands a big elbow that drops Ruth! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Ruth is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matt Kristo!
A very excited looking Matt Kristo rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
