Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Olen Duncan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, The King Bjj!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duncan fails with a takedown attempt.
Duncan shoots in for a double leg but Bjj sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bjj tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Duncan shoots in for a takedown but Bjj shows good takedown defense.
And Bjj tries to counter it with a takedown but Duncan pushes his down on his head and steps out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Olen Duncan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Duncan misses with a takedown attempt - Bjj sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Bjj stuffs the takedown attempt from Duncan. Duncan gets slowly back to his feet.
Bjj with the counter takedown but Duncan avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Duncan shoots in looking for a takedown. Bjj tries to sprawl out of it but Duncan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bjj manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Duncan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bjj feints the counter takedown.

Bjj scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Bjj moves into full mount! Duncan won't be happy about that!
Bjj takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Bjj is landing with strikes from the back.
Bjj somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.

Bjj has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Duncan! Can he survive? No! He's out! Bjj gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). The King Bjj!
The King Bjj spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
