Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vash Stampede (ranked 1241 p4p, 61 weight class) and Nick Gracie Jr (ranked 1171 p4p, 58 weight class). Stampede comes to the cage accompanied by Remember The Name. Nick Gracie Jr has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Vash Stampede!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nick Gracie Jr!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stampede wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Gracie Jr has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Gracie Jr on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Stampede scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Gracie Jr shoots in looking for a takedown. Stampede tries to sprawl out of it but Gracie Jr keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stampede manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Stampede throwing a counter right hand but Gracie Jr manages to avoid it.
Stampede has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Yaw-Yan Ardigma in the buildup to the fight.
Stampede tests Gracie Jr's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Gracie Jr misses with a body shot.
Stampede rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gracie Jr moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Gracie Jr shoots in and bounces Stampede off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Gracie Jr has gone for a leg lock! Stampede slips out almost immediately though and dives into Gracie Jr's guard.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Stampede tries to free his leg and advance position but Gracie Jr is retaining full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stampede stays in close to Gracie Jr's body and controls the position.
Stampede knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie Jr on the ground.

Gracie Jr is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Stampede is aware though and is defending well.

Gracie Jr working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stampede doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Gracie Jr is tightening it up a little... Stampede has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Stampede reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Stampede taps out! Nice BJJ there by Gracie Jr!
