Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Davies (ranked 4182 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevor Tremblay (ranked 5015 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Davies looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tremblay tries to score a power double leg takedown but Davies sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tremblay somewhat.
Davies looks to land a combination but Tremblay avoids it well.
Davies looks to throw the jab but Tremblay is out of range.
Tremblay tries to clinch there but Davies circles away.
Tremblay fails to land the takedown.
Tremblay shoots in looking for a takedown. Davies tries to sprawl out of it but Tremblay keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Davies manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Mike Davies has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trevor Tremblay.
Tremblay dives in and grabs Davies's left leg, looking for a takedown. Davies pushes down on Tremblay's head and hops out.
Davies throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tremblay.
Tremblay with the counter takedown but Davies avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tremblay is looking to clinch but Davies is avoiding it.
Tremblay fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Davies avoids it really well and circles away.
Davies throws a series of strikes that have Tremblay backpedaling.
Tremblay is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Davies rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tremblay moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Davies misses with a looping left.
Tremblay throws a counter combo.

Tremblay closes the distance and clinches.
Tremblay tries to pull guard but Davies forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Tremblay tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Tremblay tries to pull guard but Davies holds him up against the cage and eventually Tremblay drops back down to his feet.
Davies is trying to break free.
Tremblay trying to land knees to the body.
Knees in the clinch landing for Tremblay.
Davies is trying to force a seperation but Tremblay has the dominant position.
Davies wants to get back to striking at distance but Tremblay won't allow it.
Tremblay is trying to pull guard but Davies turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Tremblay pulls Davies into guard.
Tremblay looks winded!
Davies won't allow Tremblay to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Davies gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Davies lands a lovely overhand right.
Tremblay lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Davies drops Tremblay with a right and a left! Davies comes rushing in but Tremblay regains his composure and manages to keep Davies in guard.

Tremblay is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Davies decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Tremblay is still on wobbly legs! Can Davies finish him?
Davies plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Tremblay to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Tremblay just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
