Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Theodore Jasper (ranked 3285 p4p, 312 weight class) and Jon Cormier (ranked 24049 p4p, 389 weight class). Jon Cormier is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jon Cormier!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Shimada and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cormier misses with a two punch combination.
Cormier shoots for a takedown but Jasper saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Cormier gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Jasper connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Jasper lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cormier circles away quickly and effectively.
Cormier drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Jasper defends it well.
Cormier shoots in looking for a takedown. Jasper tries to sprawl out of it but Cormier keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jasper manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Jasper looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Theodore Jasper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Cormier.
Cormier throws a lazy head kick
and Jasper counters with a one-two to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cormier shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jasper as he avoids it easily.
Cormier fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jasper avoids it really well and circles away.
Jasper seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Cormier throws a series of punches but Jasper moves out of range.
Cormier walks into a jab.
Cormier looks for the body kick but Jasper saw that one coming.
Cormier misses with a takedown attempt
and Jasper cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Cormier misses with a shot to the body
and Jasper cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Cormier is rocked!
Jasper feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Cormier crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
