PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Chaos (ranked 1228 p4p, 164 weight class) and Mario Rossi (ranked 1390 p4p, 184 weight class). Chaos comes to the ring accompanied by Cannibal Corpse - Hammer Smashed Face. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Max Chaos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mario Rossi!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chaos tries for a takedown but Rossi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Rossi slaps away a takedown attempt from Chaos, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Chaos changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rossi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Rossi wants to get back to his feet but Chaos drags him back down.

Rossi looks like he wants to counter punch here.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Chaos can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rossi is looking to escape.

You get the feeling that Rossi really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Chaos has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Rossi's face.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
