Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Holmes drives through and clinches with McKagan against the cage.
McKagan is trying to drag Holmes to the mat but Holmes just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Holmes jumps guard and drags McKagan to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Holmes can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as McKagan controls the pace.
It looks like McKagan might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

McKagan avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
McKagan is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
McKagan won't allow Holmes to sweep him here.

Oh but Holmes is tightening it up a little... McKagan has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! McKagan reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! McKagan taps out! Nice BJJ there by Holmes!
