And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Grundmann!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grundmann blocks the body kick.
Tarczynski connects with a jab.
Grundmann takes a jab right on the kisser.
Tarczynski leaves Grundmann with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Tarczynski was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Tarczynski throws a shot to the body.
Tarczynski cracks Grundmann with a good jab.
That kick from Tarczynski tenderised Grundmann's leg. Grundmann is trying to keep his angry face on.
Grundmann blocks a head kick by Tarczynski.
Grundmann shoots for a takedown but Tarczynski saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Tarczynski counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Karol Tarczynski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Grundmann.
Grundmann on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tarczynski moves into the clinch successfully.
Tarczynski lands a hook to the side of the head.
Grundmann trying to control the position but instead, Tarczynski has worked for underhooks and has pushed Grundmann into the cage.
Tarczynski lands an uppercut.

Tarczynski gets underhooks to prevent Grundmann's takedown attempt.
Tarczynski is defending well against a takedown attempt.
A nice left hand lands by Tarczynski.
Tarczynski lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Grundmann backwards.
Tarczynski is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Our sources have told us that Tarczynski has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Tarczynski takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Tarczynski unloads a knee to the mid-section. Grundmann lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Grundmann looks winded!
Tarczynski lands with a right to the head.

Tarczynski breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Tarczynski instigates a clinch.
Tarczynski lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Grundmann backwards.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Tarczynski throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Tarczynski lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Grundmann told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
Tarczynski lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Tarczynski breaks the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Grundmann with a lazy takedown attempt
and Tarczynski counters with a body kick that stops Grundmann in his tracks momentarily.
Grundmann on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Grundmann shoots for a double leg takedown but Tarczynski sprawls well. He's pushed Grundmann's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tarczynski throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
A slapping leg kick lands for Tarczynski.
Grundmann takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Grundmann shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Tarczynski lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Grundmann falls backwards - clearly groggy! Tarczynski dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Karol Tarczynski!
