The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith looks for a takedown but Winston sprawls well.
Winston lands with a shot to the body.
Winston connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Winston stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Winston wants it to stay on the feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Smith.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scott Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Smith takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Winston tries for a takedown but Smith sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Smith has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Winston is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Smith yanks on the arm and Winston is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Smith.
