Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Khru Jako (ranked 3144 p4p, 338 weight class) and Pekko Wannanen (ranked 3700 p4p, 376 weight class). Jako comes into the arena with Catch a Fire blaring out of the sound system. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pekko Wannanen!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wannanen slips under a jab.

Jako throws an overhand right that lands on Wannanen's shoulder, as Wannanen tries to avoid the shot.

Jako has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

That was a close second round but I would say that Khru Jako will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Khru Jako.
Well Jako has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A less than humble Khru Jako misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
Pekko Wannanen was interviewed post fight and said 'well that's some bullshit!'.
