Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Ricco McGregor (ranked 7240 p4p, 192 weight class) and Nicky Ryan (ranked 21389 p4p, 141 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
A good leg kick by McGregor.
A looping hook to the body misses from McGregor. Ryan does a little dance to reset his feet.
McGregor throws a shot to the body.
Ricco McGregor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McGregor scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Ryan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

McGregor scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Ryan to his hands and knees! The ref pushes McGregor away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Ryan got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!

Ryan is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ryan misses with a body punch
and McGregor counters with a big right hand that sends Ryan crashing to the mat! He's very wobbly - can he beat the count?! 5,6,7,8... he's up! No, he's down again! 9,10! He's done! The referee calls an end to the bout - McGregor takes it!
