The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamamoto misses with a jab, cross combination.
Meyer wants to clinch but Yamamoto slips to the side

and Yamamoto counters with a takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Yamamoto stands up and beckons Meyer to his feet.

Yamamoto decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Meyer, up you get!

Meyer is looking to clinch but Yamamoto is avoiding it.
Yamamoto was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Meyer avoids the head kick by Yamamoto.
Meyer closes the distance but Yamamoto moves to the side
and Yamamoto counters with a left and a right that stings Meyer.
Yamamoto's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Yamamoto duly obliges.

It looks like Sergej Meyer has been cut.
Yamamoto avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Meyer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Yamamoto swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Meyer tries to buck Yamamoto off so he can stand up but Yamamoto has got his back now - this could be big trouble! He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! Meyer falls backwards, slamming Yamamoto to the mat but Yamamoto holds on tight! Meyer is forced to tap and this one is all over!

Tanakshi Yamamoto tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
