Wyatt comes to the cage accompanied by Channel Zero. Laiho has chosen Cold Sweat/ Thin Lizzy as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wyatt throws a body punch but Laiho moves out of range.
Laiho throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wyatt.
Laiho lands with a cross.
Laiho misses with an uppercut
and Wyatt counters with a head kick.
Wyatt ducks under a wild hook from Laiho.
Wyatt avoids a punch combination nicely.
Laiho tries for a takedown but Wyatt circles away easily
and Wyatt counters with a thumping low kick.
Laiho throws an off balance right hand
and Wyatt counters with a nice right hand that sends Laiho toppling to the canvas! Laiho scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Wyatt finish him?!
It looks like Alexi Laiho has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wyatt needs to keep his hands up - Laiho had a free shot at his head there.
Wyatt moves out of range of the strikes.
It looked like Wyatt was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
A combination from Laiho does no damage.
It looked like Wyatt was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Laiho.
Laiho swings widly with a right hand
and Wyatt counters with a big right hand! Oh Laiho is in trouble here! Wyatt follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Koba Wyatt!
Koba Wyatt bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
