The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammerbush shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Knox napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Knox throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Hammerbush tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Knox paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Knox shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hammerbush manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Hammerbush had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Knox defends it easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hammerbush is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Knox is defending well for now.

Hammerbush shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Knox manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Knox pushes Hammerbush off and gets back to his feet.

Knox shoots in looking for a takedown but Hammerbush manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Knox's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Hammerbush is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Knox sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Hammerbush doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Knox paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Hammerbush - great work!
