The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Roger Salmon and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hed closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hed lands in his opponent's guard.
Dimka is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hed stands up over Dimka, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Dimka is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Dimka wants to sweep here but Hed controlling him for the moment.
Dimka is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hed working some strikes from top position.
Dimka throws his legs up looking for a submission but Hed uses it to pass to side control.
Dimka knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hed on the ground.
Hed scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Dimka to see if he's OK.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dimka is looking for a sweep.
A big shot lands for Hed! That's hurt Dimka! Will he recover? Hed fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

Morgan Hed really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Shade Tree Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
