The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brenner keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

It looks like Everett Arroyo has been cut.
Arroyo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Everett Arroyo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Arroyo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Arroyo lands in his opponent's guard.
Arroyo controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Arroyo postures up and lands a big shot to Brenner's brow.
Arroyo slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Arroyo scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Brenner to see if he's OK.

Arroyo has an Americana. Brenner didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Arroyo is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Arroyo hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
