Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Smith (ranked 791 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tan Zan (ranked 464 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Smith cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Zan can't escape the position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Zan can do anything to dispel that myth.

Smith has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Zan's face.
Zan tries to hold on but Smith postures up.

Smith takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Smith is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Zan can do to turn this around?

Zan scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Smith doesn't seem bothered though.
