Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Freddie Daisy (ranked 5426 p4p, 467 weight class) and Jacques Daniel (ranked 4997 p4p, 454 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jacques Daniel!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Daisy misses.

Daniel rushes Daisy and presses him up against the cage.

Daisy jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Daniel walks away with a smile on his face. Daisy gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Daisy stalks Daniel and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Daniel's face. Daniel staggers backwards, shaken.

Daniel looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Daisy slips under a jab.
Daniel throws the kick towards the body but Daisy avoids it.
Daisy appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.

Daniel swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Daisy shoots and misses
and Daniel counters with a nice body kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Daniel on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Daisy dives in for a single leg takedown but Daniel sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Daniel replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Daisy blocks it well.

Daniel was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Daniel feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Daisy's calf.
Daniel has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Daniel in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Jacques Daniel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Daniel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
