Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vasilios Megalos (ranked 1037 p4p, 118 weight class) and Zilch Filch (ranked 1371 p4p, 152 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Zilch Filch enters the ring!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filch shoots in but no luck this time.
Filch missing with a left hand there. Megalos was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Filch takes one on the button.

Filch is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

The fighters circle momentarily. Megalos darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Megalos looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Filch takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Megalos feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Filchs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Filch moves in looking to clinch but Megalos pushes him off.

Filch tries to clinch there but Megalos circles away.
Megalos changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Megalos digs a good hook to Filch's body.
Filch takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Megalos dodges the punch combination from Filch.
A quick step to the side and Megalos tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Megalos uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Filch.
Filch moves out of range as Megalos strikes.

Filch drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
A head kick misses from Filch.
Filch explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Megalos throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Megalos fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Vasilios Megalos is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Megalos connects with a body shot that sends Filch's belly button to the back.

Megalos is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Megalos swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Megalos tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Nice defenses there by Megalos.
Filch lunges at Megalos with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Megalos's hand.
Filch throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Filch moves forwards but Megalos connects with a nice, crisp jab.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Megalos clobbers Filch with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Megalos shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Filch ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Megalos is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Filch can do to turn this around?

Vasilios Megalos is winning the standup battle so far.
Megalos is looking to land body kicks.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Filch might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Megalos has got the better of the exchanges.

Filch has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Megalos.
Vasilios Megalos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Filch counters with a beautiful punch that sends Megalos to the canvas!

It looks like Vasilios Megalos has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Filch postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Filch postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Filch loads up on a big left hand. Megalos felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Filch looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Megalos can't hide his disappointment, as Filch celebrates the victory.
