Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, BM Websphere!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Oshan Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jackson swings for the body but Websphere moves out of range.

and Websphere makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
A decent looking cross lands there for Jackson.
Jackson cracks Websphere with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Websphere feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Jacksons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Jackson's coach down at Welch Boxing Club was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Jackson's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Websphere really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jackson clobbers Websphere with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Jackson cracks Websphere with an uppercut from hell and Websphere crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Jackson's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Jackson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Websphere swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jackson is looking to work some ground and pound but Websphere has wrist control.
Jackson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Jackson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Websphere manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jackson has Websphere in his guard.

Jackson pulls Websphere in close to his closed guard and prevents Websphere from doing any damage or advancing position.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jackson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Jackson might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

In his post fight interview, Oshan Jackson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
