The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frost shoots for a double leg takedown but Gomes sprawls well. He's pushed Frost's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Gomes is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Gomes throws a series of punches but Frost moves out of range.

Gomes shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Gomes was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Gomes tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Gomes has an Americana. Frost didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Gomes is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Gomes hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
