The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Diaz.
Diaz throws a counter high kick but Wallace was just alert enough to avoid it.
Diaz moves out of range of the strikes.
A swing and a miss from Diaz.
Wallace stuns Diaz with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Wallace tries to clinch but Diaz is having none of it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Wallace. Diaz does a little dance to reset his feet.
Wallace bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Wallace is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Diaz.

It looks like Henry Wallace has been cut.
Wallace takes a swing at Diaz's ribcage but misses.
Wallace has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Henry Wallace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Diaz walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
