Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franky Page (ranked 542 p4p, 82 weight class) and Philo Beddo (ranked 1419 p4p, 187 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Page takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

It looks like Franky Page has been cut.
Page ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Beddo moves away.
Page moves in looking to clinch but Beddo pushes him off.
Page shoots in but Beddo avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Beddo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Page.

Page gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Beddo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Beddo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Page ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Beddo moves away.

Beddo gets tackled into the cage by Page. Page maintains the clinch.

We've been hearing good reports from Page's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
