Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darth Sidious (ranked 64 p4p, 11 weight class) and Foot Fungus (ranked 50 p4p, 9 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sidious blocks a jab.
Fungus throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Sidious does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Fungus thinks about the counter body kick.
Fungus misses with a wild body shot.
Fungus misses with an uppercut
and Fungus takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Fungus throws a shot from downtown. Sidious moves away and avoids it.
Fungus throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Sidious dodges the punch combination from Fungus.

We've been informed that Fungus has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Fungus is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sidious.

Fungus slips a straight right by Sidious.
Sidious is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fungus.
Fungus lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sidious circles away quickly and effectively.
Sidious defending well as Fungus loads up on a big left hand.

Foot Fungus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fungus ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Sidious misses the jab.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
