Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Don Fagaro (ranked 3382 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alphaios Alevizos (ranked 2852 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Don Fagaro has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Don Fagaro seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alphaios Alevizos!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Joseph Jones and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fagaro lands a really nice looking cross but Alevizos seems unphased.
Alevizos gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Fagaro counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Alevizos tries for a takedown but Fagaro circles away easily
and Alevizos takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Fagaro throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Alevizos stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Alevizos doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Fagaro connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Alphaios Alevizos has been cut.
Don Fagaro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alphaios Alevizos.
Fagaro gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Fagaro gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Alevizos regains guard.

Fagaro has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Alevizos has hold of Fagaro's hands but Fagaro slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Fagaro connects with a nice short shot to Alevizos's temple.

Fagaro is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Alevizos doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Fagaro.

Fagaro takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Fagaro lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Alevizos! More strikes land and this one is all over! Fagaro jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Don Fagaro!
An out of breath Don Fagaro thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
