Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xix Zyx (ranked 4903 p4p, 0 weight class) and Park Shin Bum (ranked 6656 p4p, 0 weight class). Shin Bum is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The King is Here. Park Shin Bum will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shin Bum scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Zyx shoots for a takedown but Shin Bum saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Zyx closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Zyx closes this distance looking for a takedown but Shin Bum circles away.
Shin Bum looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Shin Bum moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Zyx shoots in and gets a takedown into Shin Bum's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Shin Bum is fighting to break Zyx's control of his arms but Zyx is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Zyx shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Shin Bum's guard.
Zyx slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Zyx advances nicely into full mount.

Zyx avoids the attempt from Shin Bum to control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Zyx wants to finish this one by submission but Shin Bum is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Zyx.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Zyx takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Park Shin Bum will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Zyx throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Zyx will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Zyx shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Shin Bum pinned against the cage. Shin Bum gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Shin Bum moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Shin Bum stuffs the takedown attempt from Zyx. Zyx gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xix Zyx. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Zyx really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Shin Bum counters with a nice uppercut.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Shin Bum lands a glancing blow to the side of Zyx's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zyx goes for a double leg but Shin Bum avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Shin Bum continues to drive forward.

Zyx takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Shin Bum scores with a one two! Zyx had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Shin Bum digs a good body shot into Zyx's ribs.
Zyx closes the distance and clinches up with Shin Bum, looking for a takedown. Zyx pushes Shin Bum against the cage but Shin Bum circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Shin Bum wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Shin Bum fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Zyx looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Shin Bum lands with a nice body punch.
The fighters circle momentarily. Shin Bum darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
A left lands for Shin Bum.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Zyx showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Shin Bum.
Shin Bum lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Zyx circles away quickly and effectively.
Zyx feinted with a counter takedown.
Zyx changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Shin Bum looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Shin Bum tries to bench press Zyx off him but Zyx keeps the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zyx takes a little break here. Shin Bum wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Zyx decides to stand back up.
Zyx scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The referee asks Zyx politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Zyx prefers to stall for the moment though.
Shin Bum tries to control but Zyx manages to take his back.
Zyx has good solid back control here.
Shin Bum looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Zyx controls the position.
Zyx seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Shin Bum for as long as he can get away with.
Shin Bum wants to get back to his feet. He's half way up but Zyx drags him back down with a jolt, managing to get his forearm deep under Shin Bum 's chin! Shin Bum is in real trouble! His face is turning bright red and he's forced to tap! This one is all over!
