Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnnie Carver (ranked 24836 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Jett (ranked 4935 p4p, 0 weight class). Billy Jett will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carver leaves Jett with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Jett shoots in for a takedown but Carver shows good takedown defense.
Carver changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Jett goes for a double leg but Carver avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Carver continues to drive forward.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
