The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steve shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Steve knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rypalev on the ground.
Rypalev looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Rypalev is pressing down on Steve's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Steve is looking to stand up but Rypalev won't let him.
Rypalev had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Steve defends it easily.
Steve is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Rypalev has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Steve is looking to defend but Rypalev has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Steve! Rypalev pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Steve taps out and this one is all over!
