The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moro stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Moro wants it to stay on the feet.
Moro drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Escobar defends it well.
Escobar shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Moro but Moro pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Escobar goes for a double leg but Moro avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Moro continues to drive forward.
And Moro tries to counter it with a takedown but Escobar pushes his down on his head and steps out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luiz Escobar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Escobar looks to land a right hand but Moro moved out of range.
Escobar shoots in looking for a takedown. Moro tries to sprawl out of it but Escobar keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Moro manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Escobar bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Moro's guard.
