Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anton Fisher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Domin Curtis!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fisher looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Fisher.
Fisher is trying hard to land a takedown here. Curtis sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anton Fisher. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fisher shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Fisher showed some decent athleticism there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fisher seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Fisher's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Fisher wants to stand but Curtis has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Fisher really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Curtis is looking for a sweep. Fisher is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Fisher tries to stand but can't do so whilst Curtis controls his leg.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Fisher keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Fisher shoots in but no luck this time.
Curtis tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Fisher shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Curtis sprawls well. Curtis wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fisher gets slowly back to his feet.

Fisher shoots in for a double leg but Curtis sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Fisher darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Fisher looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Curtis tries to roll over but Fisher keeps him under control.
Fisher content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Fisher is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Curtis wants to get back to full guard.
Fisher perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Fisher decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Fisher throws a sloppy head kick

and Curtis counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Fisher works his way to full guard. Good work.
Curtis looks winded!

Fisher wants to sweep here but Curtis controlling him for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Anton Fisher dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Fisher fails with the takedown

and Curtis counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Curtis drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fisher manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Curtis has Fisher in his guard.

Fisher wants to stand and escape but instead Curtis has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Fisher is trying to maintain the position but Curtis is very close to passing his half guard.
Fisher is looking for a sweep. Curtis is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Fisher makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Fisher.
Curtis trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Curtis is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Fisher is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Curtis pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fisher is keeping the position for now.
Curtis is breathing heavily.
Fisher has control of Curtis's left arm, preventing Curtis from doing any damage.
Curtis won't allow Fisher to sweep him here.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Curtis is fighting to break Fisher's control of his arms but Fisher is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Fisher trying to keep a closed guard but Curtis is proving a slippery customer.
Curtis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fisher swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Fisher tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Curtis tries to free his leg and advance position but Fisher is retaining full guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Fisher bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Curtis's guard.

Fisher content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Curtis has locked up a guillotine! Curtis's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Fisher is holding on here and Curtis must be using up a lot of energy. Fisher has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Curtis gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
