The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Samson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Samson takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Samson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

I was talking to Samson's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Samson in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. The Scorpion tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Samson!

During a confident post fight interview, Mongali Samson thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
Syd The Scorpion spoke after the fight, saying 'Hymie delivers in Pawnee this message to a confused and stunned crowd.."I might be bleeding, But I'm still breathing, You might hate me, But you can't break me..you pussy bitch motherfuckers..Come and get me." Thank you.'.
