Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Munday (ranked 1017 p4p, 118 weight class) and Antonio Zetsika (ranked 2503 p4p, 241 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mickey Munday!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Antonio Zetsika!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zetsika swings for the body but Munday moves out of range.
Zetsika shoots in for a takedown but Munday shows good takedown defense.
Munday bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Zetsika's head backwards.
Munday misses with a lunging right hand
and Zetsika counters with a shoot takedown. Munday fights it but they end up in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zetsika is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Munday has his foot on Zetsika's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Zetsika works his way back into a safe position though.
Zetsika postures up.
Zetsika throwing strikes from guard but Munday blocks nicely.
Munday is working an open guard so Zetsika takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Munday misses with an uppercut. Zetsika saw that one coming.
Munday smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Zetsika tries to score a power double leg takedown but Munday sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Zetsika somewhat.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Zetsika moves into the clinch.
Zetsika tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Mickey Munday has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antonio Zetsika.
Zetsika looking to throw knees to the head but Munday is blocking nicely.
Munday avoids the elbow strike from Zetsika, against the cage.
Munday has a couple of punches blocked by Zetsika.
Zetsika manages to break the clinch.
Zetsika lands a high kick!
Mickey Munday seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zetsika tries a head kick but it misses.
Zetsika with a lazy takedown attempt
and Munday counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Zetsika fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Mickey Munday is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Zetsika shoots in for a takedown but Munday shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Zetsika connects with a body shot that sends Munday's belly button to the back.
A jab from Munday finds it's way through Zetsika's defenses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zetsika fails with the takedown
and Munday counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Zetsika is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Munday steps in with a hook that catches Zetsika right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Munday follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Zetsika looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mickey Munday!
