Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jean Luc Picard!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Picard lands a nice hook to Peterson's body. Peterson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Picard moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Shaun Peterson has been cut.
Peterson misses with a double jab.
Peterson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Picard's waist but Picard gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Peterson off to one side.
Picard connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Peterson is rocked!
Peterson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Picard swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Picard comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Peterson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Peterson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Picard lands a big uppercut and Peterson crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Peterson looks OK. Picard waves Peterson back to his feet!
Oh Peterson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Peterson is aggressively charging in as Picard backs up avoiding any damage. Picard tosses out a jab and Peterson runs right into it face first! Peterson is out cold! Picard dropped down on all fours and is barking in Peterson's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jean Luc Picard!
A relieved looking Jean Luc Picard thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
