The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Fried blocks the low kick.
Fried takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
French Fried seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fried ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Fried has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Barbosa.
Fried tries to clinch up.
Fried slips a straight right by Barbosa.
Barbosa misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fried.
Fried uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Barbosa.

Fried tries to work over Barbosa's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Fried is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Barbosa.
Barbosa swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Fried misses with a wild body shot.
Fried throws a right hand that Barbosa ducks under and follows up with a left that Barbosa also avoids with ease.
Fried gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Barbosa.
Fried fails with an attempt to clinch.
Barbosa scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Fried tests Barbosa's chin there with a solid looking shot.
