Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Elgin Turner (ranked 138 p4p, 20 weight class) and Dave Wearmouth (ranked 42 p4p, 7 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Turner might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Wu-Tang Clan - Da Mystery Of Chessboxin'. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Wearmouth works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Turner throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Wearmouth on the side of the head.
Turner shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wearmouth sprawls well. Wearmouth wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Turner gets slowly back to his feet.

Wearmouth throws the left hand but Turner avoids the punch easily.

Turner seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wearmouth does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Turner looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Turner looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Wearmouth with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Elgin Turner will probably get the nod.

Elgin Turner spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
