Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike McGuire (ranked 2293 p4p, 262 weight class) and Andy Rothschild (ranked 3279 p4p, 346 weight class). McGuire kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Five Finger Death Punch - Jekyll And Hyde. Rothschild comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Iron Maiden- Wrathchild kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Mike McGuire had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rothschild avoids a punch combination nicely.
McGuire throws a half hearted mid kick.
Rothschild blocks the body kick.
Rothschild shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McGuire but McGuire pushes him off and we're back to square one.
McGuire pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rothschild drops down looking to force a counter takedown but McGuire defends it well.

Rothschild throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McGuire's waist but McGuire gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rothschild off to one side.
McGuire shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rothschild napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for McGuire, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
