The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hauser takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Gaetz throws a hook but Hauser avoids it easily.

Gaetz's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hauser connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Gaetz scrambles back to his feet.

Hauser sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Gaetz lands a leg kick that knocks Hauser off balance momentarily.

Hauser takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Hauser swings for the body but Gaetz moves out of range.

Hauser throws a nice looking combination but Gaetz bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Gaetz moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Gaetz uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hauser.

and Gaetz makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Hauser looks winded!

Gaetz throws out a powerful jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hauser misses with a two punch combination.
Gaetz connects with a leg kick. Hauser looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Hauser misses with a right hand
and Hauser takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That has opened up Conrad Hauser's cut even more.
A good leg kick by Hauser.
Hauser steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Gaetz. That one must have hurt.
Gaetz jabs Hauser to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Hauser has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Gaetz finds it's way round the side to connect with Hauser's head.
Gaetz drops Hauser with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Hauser looks back up at him and smiles so Gaetz waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Hauser is rocked!
The cut above Conrad Hauser's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Hauser glances at the clock... BAM! Gaetz nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Hauser crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Hauser is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Link Gaetz!
