The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jimmerson lands with a thumping leg kick.
Forever has a takedown stuffed.
Forever waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jimmerson.
Jimmerson throwing a counter right hand but Forever manages to avoid it.
Jimmerson moves out of range of the strikes.
Jimmerson quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Jimmerson lands a leg kick that knocks Forever off balance momentarily.
Forever shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Jimmerson counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Wacanda Forever has been cut.
Jimmerson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Forever looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Jimmerson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Jimmerson cracks Forever with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Forever walks into a jab.
Jimmerson connects with a looping right hand.
Forever misses with a shot to the body
and Jimmerson counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Forever slips a jab from Jimmerson.
Jimmerson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jimmerson feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Forever's calf.
Nice sprawl there from Jimmerson as Forever shoots in.
Jimmerson half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Russell Jimmerson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wacanda Forever.
Jimmerson connects with the punch.

Forever misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Jimmerson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Forever is rocked!
Forever rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jimmerson rattles Forever with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Forever tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Jimmerson dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Forever stiff and motionless on the mat!
