Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Pearson (ranked 1634 p4p, 190 weight class) and Albert Ricci (ranked 1138 p4p, 128 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Johnny Pearson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Johnny Pearson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ricci takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Pearson slips under a jab from Ricci.
Pearson uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

A nice side step and Ricci releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Ricci slips a jab from Pearson.
Ricci let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Pearson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ricci moves out of range of the strikes.
Pearson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ricci takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Ricci throws a lazy right hand but Pearson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pearson thumps Ricci with a low kick.

Pearson forces Ricci back against the cage and clinches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A nice glancing elbow lands by Pearson.
Pearson prevents a body shot from Ricci.
Ricci pushes Pearson back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Pearson tries to land knees in the clinch but Ricci avoids the damage to the body.

Pearson tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Ricci's elbow.

Pearson can't find room to land a body shot as Ricci controls the action.
Ricci has a couple of punches blocked by Pearson.

Ricci escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Johnny Pearson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ricci scores with a jab to the body.
Pearson is breathing heavily.
Ricci throws a monster overhand right that drops Pearson! Ricci follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

A very excited looking Albert Ricci rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
