Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Crush Bandicoot (ranked 407 p4p, 49 weight class) and Freddy White (ranked 593 p4p, 25 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Crush Bandicoot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 39 - 26 - 4, fighting out of Hilo, Freddy White!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Reed Andrews and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bandicoot is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

White ducks right into an uppercut from Bandicoot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bandicoot is looking to take a break and control but White is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bandicoot lands a nice short elbow.

Crush Bandicoot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
White swings for the body but Bandicoot moves out of range.

White will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

White uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bandicoot.
As Bandicoot backs off White throws a huge counter combo but Bandicoot manages to avoid it all.

and White counters with a left and a right that stings Bandicoot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
White throws a nice looking combination but Bandicoot bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A little feinted left hand from Bandicoot on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

That was a close round but I would say that Crush Bandicoot will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

White's jab looks to have found its range, popping Bandicoot under the eye.
White throws a hook to the side of Bandicoot's head but Bandicoot sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

And White responds with a good body kick, but Bandicoot manages to step out the way in time.

It looked like Bandicoot wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

White rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bandicoot moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bandicoot connects with a nice short shot to White's temple.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Bandicoot seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Crush Bandicoot.
Well Bandicoot has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
