The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Phouthong gets tackled into the cage by Cunningham. Cunningham maintains the clinch.
Phouthong looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Cunningham breaks from the clinch.
Cunningham rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Phouthong moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Phouthong gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Cunningham.

Cunningham moves into the clinch.
Phouthong prevents Cunningham from breaking the clinch.

Cunningham's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Cunningham gets a clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Cunningham pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Cunningham blocks a head kick by Phouthong.
Cunningham seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Cunningham throws a left that rocks Phouthong and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Cunningham dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Phouthong regain composure!

It looks like Hakkamunoi Phouthong has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Phouthong takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Phouthong is rocked!
The ground and pound from Cunningham seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Phouthong is still in real trouble! Can Cunningham finish him?
Cunningham cracks Phouthong with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Cunningham immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Phouthong is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Cunningham!
