The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hart clinches.
Tahal looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Tahal lands a takedown into guard.
Hart has his hands on Tahal's head, controlling the position.
Tahal must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Hart's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hart is on top in guard.

Hart gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Hart throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Tahal tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hart is in Tahal's guard.

Hart gets to his feet. Tahal looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Hart moves into the clinch successfully.

Hart has Tahal pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Hart pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Tahal tumbling to the mat - Hart dives into Tahal's guard.
Hart is working Tahal over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Hart stands and steps away. Tahal gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Hart is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Tahal's half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
