The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kristo misses the shot to the body.
Kristo misses with a few strikes there.

Donato jumps guard but Kristo turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Kristo lands an elbow just above Donato 's eye.
Kristo gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Billy Donato has been cut.

Kristo is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Donato is defending well for now.

Matt Kristo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kristo finds Donato's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Donato flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Kristo lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Donato will be OK.

A very excited looking Matt Kristo rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
