Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rufus Brown (ranked 3431 p4p, 125 weight class) and Jimrex Jaca (ranked 6279 p4p, 177 weight class). Jaca has chosen Twinkle-twinkle little star as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rufus Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimrex Jaca!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and Ben Watson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jaca.
Jaca has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Brown is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Jaca lands a nice hook to Brown's body. Brown takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Jaca throws a shot from downtown. Brown moves away and avoids it.
Brown darts in looking for a takedown but Jaca gets double underhooks and turns Brown into the cage.
Brown could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Jaca loads up on a big right hand but Brown slips the punch.
Brown fails with the takedown.
Jaca scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Brown shoots for a takedown but Jaca saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rufus Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Brown shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jaca as he jumps to the side.
Brown staying out of range there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jaca cracks Brown with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Brown looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Jaca finish him?

Brown is rocked!

It looks like Rufus Brown has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jaca throws a hook to the side of Brown's head but Brown sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jaca misses with a body shot.
Brown slips a jab from Jaca.
Brown moves away from the strike by Jaca.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Brown, as that shot connected.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brown fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jaca looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Jaca drops Brown with a naaaaasty hook - Brown is in real trouble here! Jaca dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jimrex Jaca!
