The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butabi takes the fight into the clinch.
Butabi tries to throw a body punch but Chojnowski avoids it by throwing Butabi back against the cage.
Butabi has Chojnowski pressed against the cage, preventing Chojnowski from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Butabi successfully pulls guard.
Butabi is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Chojnowski trying to control but Butabi is working from the bottom.
Chojnowski is fighting to break Butabi's control of his arms but Butabi is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Butabi has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Butabi is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Chojnowski frees his head nicely. Oh but Butabi has switched to an armbar! Chojnowski is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
