Shann tries to bum rush Entei with a series of wild strikes but Entei uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Entei throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Shann throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Entei.
No joy there for Shann, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Entei swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Entei dodges the punch combination from Shann.

and Entei counters with a nice low kick that buckles Shann's knee momentarily.
A chopping leg kick lands by Entei.
Shann fails to land with a series of punches.
Entei throws a right hand that Shann ducks under and follows up with a left that Shann also avoids with ease.
The crowd cheers as Entei lands an impressive looking overhand right. Shann doesn't seem phased though.
Kurt Shann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shann uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Entei.
Shann lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Entei uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Entei fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Entei throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Shann.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Shann will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Entei swings for the body but Shann moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Harry Entei will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Entei sizes up Shann with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Shann is rocked!
Shann leaves his chin hanging out and Entei seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Shann crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

After the fight, Harry Entei was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
