Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edgar Boon (ranked 3001 p4p, 0 weight class) and Atif Muhammad (ranked 20804 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Atif Muhammad!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boon scores with a crisp jab that stopped Muhammad in his tracks.
Boon with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Muhammad is looking to clinch but Boon is avoiding it.
Boon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Boon lands a nice shot to the body.
Boon stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Boon wants it to stay on the feet.

Muhammad shoots in looking for a takedown. Boon tries to sprawl out of it but Muhammad keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Boon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Nice takedown defense from Boon. No joy for Muhammad on that attempt.
Edgar Boon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Atif Muhammad.

Boon feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Muhammads jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Boon bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Muhammad's head.
Muhammad loads up on a big right hand but Boon slips the punch.
Boon pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Muhammad back to the cage. Boon follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Boon lands a jab to Muhammad's midsection.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Muhammad with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Boon to score with a decent uppercut.

Muhammad is trying desperately to land a takedown but Boon is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Muhammad.
Boon connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Boon is working the combinations to good effect here.
Boon shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Muhammad eats them both and turns towards Boon to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Atif Muhammad has been cut.
Boon lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Boon feints a jab promting Muhammad to slip. Boon then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Muhammad slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Boon scores with a hook to the body. Muhammad takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Boon lands a nice looking body shot.

Muhammad shoots in and drives through. Boon sprawls well.
Muhammad doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Boon is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Boon goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Muhammad's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Boon connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Muhammad scrambles back to his feet.
Muhammad tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Boon defends well and Muhammad ends up having to push Boon into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Boon moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Boon leaves Muhammad with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Boon works Muhammad's body with a nice hook.

Boon smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Muhammad walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Muhammad is still on wobbly legs! Can Boon finish him?

Muhammad drops his hands momentarily and Boon takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Boon lands with an uppercut that bounces Muhammad off the cage and back into range.
Boon connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Muhammad's hands.
The fight stays on the outside here - Muhammad looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Boon lands a nice hook to Muhammad's body. Muhammad takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Muhammad seems to have recovered his senses.
Boon connects with a looping right hand.
Boon comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Boon scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Muhammad doesn't seem bothered though.

Boon gets in close and tags Muhammad with a short punch that almost sends Muhammad to the mat! Oh Muhammad is in big trouble! He turns his back on Boon, trying to create some distance but Boon rushes him, striking wildly and Muhammad goes down! The referee tackles Boon into the cage to end the fight! Boon is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Edgar Boon!
A very excited looking Edgar Boon rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
